This association was created in 1994, to better face the dynamics that childhood cancer imposes, trying to provide support at a time of uncertainty. At Casas da Acreditar, in hospitals or at home, their support can be deployed on emotional, logistical, social or other levels that families need.

ILGA Portugal is the oldest NGO working in advocacy for LGBTI+ rights in the country, working to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people and their families.

Aside from their vast political work, ILGA Portugal also manages the oldest LGBTI+ Center in Portugal, fighting off isolation and strengthening the bonds within the community, while offering a number of life-affirming services, which include an LGBTI+ helpline and psychological and victim support services.

Since 2015, APOIAR created in Mandimba and Niassa (Mozambique, Africa) a school feeding program, KUKULA - Mozambican school kitchens to nourish, grow and learn - which includes the free distribution of 2 nutritious meals a day to assiduous students. This is already present in 8 schools and covers an average of 1600 children.

In this program, they seek to promote more sustainable communities, reducing operating costs and facilitate the logistics of transporting food products.

We have the ambition to continue to grow so that more children can have access to daily school meals.
